Sarva sankshobhana

This āvarana is named SankŚobana because the Mother here is praised as the one who causes agitation, instability, commotion. This enclosure has eight lotus petals, named 

1. Ananga kusuma, 
2. Ananga mekhala, 
3. Ananga Madana, 
4. Ananga Madanātura, 
5. Ananga rekha, 
6. Ananga vegini, 
7. Ananga ankuṣa and 
8. Ananga mālini. 

It is Ananga (Cupid or Manmatha), the God of love, who agitates creatures in these ways.
